anyone keep fiddler crab in saltwater tank?

just wondering because i think this would be so cool. i have some rock work that raises above my water level but i dont have a "beach" for them to search for food or anything.

anyone ever try this?
 
No, that's not really a good habitat for them.
Fiddler crabs live in brackish water, which is less salty than saltwater. Also, they need above-water sand to burrow in.
 
Somebody tried it with red claw crabs but I don't think it went well for him.

Also.. just warning you a half land crab tank smells like a sewage leak.. I can definitly guarentee that having Gecarcinus quadratus, Perisesarma bidens, and Uca pugnax

EDIT: actually they look like something else, can't think of the species on the top of my head however they're brackish too.
