Anyone keep Porcelain crabs?

I've got 3 of them. Don't see them often, but will occasionally see one out fanning the water.

I had one for two years. He clung to my RBTA and faned all the time. Saddly I could not catch him and lost him during a Red Bug treatment.

I have 2 in my system, and they are mostly filter feeders. But I do see them catch larger "meatier" items from the water from time to time that they munch down on.

They use their large claws for defensive purposes IME "waving off" any potential "problems" that come their way.

For the most part IME they are peaceful filter feeding crabs that are very interesting to watch when you can observe them (they hide alot). Here's one of mine:

Very nice crab! Just wish they would come out more often. lol

I have one in my 58, it is being hosted by my green Haddoni. I have had it for about a month now, and it just finished its second molt.
