hi my name is Matt and i have been a hobbyist for 15 years. i have worked in high end fish retail for the last 11 years. i am hoping to get a job as a fish or coral collector or work with the coral restoration foundation. if anyone knows how to go about finding a job in this field any help would be much appreciated. thank you very much.

Any college background?

You got to remember there are a ton of hobbyests that woant a job in the field. There are also a ton of grads with Marine Biology degrees wanting a job in the field.

You better have a ton of schooling, in field experience, and a great personality.
Get scuba cert if you haven't already.

The joke in Marine Biology class was that most of the students would get a job in a pet store if they were lucky.
