The closest place I know of is the Critter, but that doesn't help very much...
I have live brine, but mostly young ones; only a few dozen adult brine that occasionally contaminate the rotifer cultures or manage to grow up in a larval tank. I wish the club weren't so spread out sometimes; I could hunt some out with a pipette and be right over
Anthias would probably go for newly-hatched ones (all other fish seem to love them), but you'd need to flood the tank for them to make a meal of it....and speaking of, it wouldn't be a bad idea to do this once in a while...just might get that pair of black o's spawning
I think brine hatchers and eggs can be found locally. If not, I could give you some eggs and you could make a 2-liter soda bottle hatcher.
Chris, if you need help to raise enough quick enough LMK. I have eggs and could rig up a hatchery tomorrow (but I think it's like 5 days to get hatchlings and your Anthias may not be able to wait that long). I lost my last anthias (of 6 total) in a filter sock 2 wks ago. I'm planning to get another group when I find a good deal (majority was lost in chiller gone wild problem and not QT until feeding good).
the store in morristown had like 2 baskets of live brine, the last time I was there. I beleive the name is Fish Fair. The owner doesn't speak very good english, so calling is a gamble.
I lost one yesterday but I don't think had anything to do with not eating. The other two are looking fine and seemed to go for a little cyclopeeze last night. I'm just going to hold out hope that they will start eating something I offer soon. So far I have tried mysis, frozen brine, marine quisine and cyclopeeze. I would try a live clam but i don't think that would be apetizing to a zooplankton feeder.
