anyone mess with diy leds?

i just ordered some royal blue and uv leds to add to my 250wDE pendant over my 30 cube.

I haven't but when you do get them in I would like to come check it out. I am debating on putting some on my 120 and frag tank. Especially the frag tank. I am running a 4 bulb t-5 fixture and it is to "white" for my liking. Compared to the 120 with the 20k bulbs

they just came in today. the heatsinks are alot bigger than i was expecting. they are beast.

i dont have them wired up yet, but just hand-holding 1 over the tank- the pop is amazing. cant wait to get them up.

fan burned up, and waiting till i can justify spending the $$$ to upgrade it to the pro before i send it in (gotta pay for this winter's heating oil first).
