anyone purchased frags from dr. mac?

anyone on here purchase one of the 12 for $99 frag pacs from dr. mac? seems like a good deal, just wondering if anyone has gotten some nice stuff from it or if its not worth it. also, anyone get any frags from garf? just curious.
 
I didnt yet but Im thinking about it maybe we can buy together if we go over 199 its free shiping let me know
 
sounds good to me, im on the southern tip of the city. im not sure how far woodridge is from here, lmk if you want to do it.

now he just has a random pack and u cant pick but im just getting into acros and stuff anyways so it doesnt really matter. seems like you guys did good though so ill give it a try. cant beat 8 bucks a frag!

you cant pick frags at this moment?
Im talking about all the acro on their website
to me they all look good no brown or pale collors although I dont want to be suprised when we get it and there is stuff thats not on their site

Why not go to a LOCAL reefers house and spend your hard earned $$...support the locals is what i say.

Heck $10 frags are nicer when your looking at them and seeing what your getting! Of course, IMHO. :)

Agreed with Racenrich! Trade em up! Why pay for shipping?! Pay 6 bucks for a couple gallons of gas, see the mother first, meet cool cats. And most the time end up with more than you bargained for!
 
ok but how many local reefers has that stuff if you see some nice frags for sale they are allready gone. and go around 20$ each. did you look at the site? check their frags man and than tell me who is selling those localy.
Ill be more than happy to drive and support our little chicagoland comunity
 
well your more than welcome to come on by......as i have lots to offer...lets say over 40 different SPS......i think you'd be more than happy with the selection......:)

im not knocking the site....most vendors do have nice corals.....but as the saying goes...you do get what you pay for......

Racenrich has one of the sickest tanks in Chi-land I've seen! Nice set-ups, great reefer, gorgeous tank and coral... well worth the drive. Dr. Mac probably got some frags from Rich ;)
 
I was out at Rich's last weekend. I guarantee you won't see a nicer tank around, and a killer selection of coral's. Definately give him a shot before you go mail order.You'll get your money's worth and see what you're buying. I plan on doing business with him again.
