I'm looking for a skimmer for my 300 I am wanting something that will do twice that. and i'm looking for external prefer recirculating.

I'd need a bigger house first. Wich I'm not opposed to and I'm actually looking right now for a house. But 1000 gal system is still quite a ways a way.

I am never on reef central anymore since I took down my SW tank...

I have an H&S 250? I think, its been a long while since it ran... I can check it out if something like this would work.

I ran it on my 250g tank with a 150 sump. did a good job.

Im really liking the fact your not bound to one type of pump with this skimmer. The 48" might be the one lol.

I was looking into getting one of those, but I lucked out and got a 36" MTC dual mazzei someone on here was selling. It has a recirc pump (blueline 40, i think), so it's not quite the same setup, but I've been really happy with it. I don't know what it is about the old school mazzeis and becketts, but I've always had good luck with them. They pull mud out of the water.

nice. ive been looking for bad reviews on them but there just arent any that would deter me from considering one.
