I was wondering if anyone as used one of these..
Orbit sprinkler timer
on their tank. I just picked one up for my lawn and it seems that the valve is all plastic(except the outside of the male hose adapter), and is a 12v latching valve. I was thinking of picking one up to turn my top off on and off so that it can only run for a few hours a day. I'm also thinking that the valves could be used with a timer or switch for auto water changes and turning on my kalk at night. What do you all think. BTW the valves are available individually for $15
