Anyone using Kati Ani for making water?

Jason, does it take the allotted 30-45 minutes that are in the instruction manual to flow through the unit with no restriction in the 1/4 inch line?

I probably flow through close to or a little faster than that. Height of the bucket will determine flow through rate. I always let the solution sit in there for 1-4 hrs and end up getting 0 tds water.

Funny, this is the guy I bought it from!

Got it all hooked up today and regenerated the resin, wasn't too bad, however that muriatic acid has some pretty nasty fumes. Did it in my garage with the doors open. Took a while to get the tds down after the regen, they say 2.5 gallons, but I think it was more like 6.

Jason, do you just run the Kati ani or do you have prefilters?

Ray, I just run the kati ani, no prefilters.

Make sure when u charge the ani that u add the lye to water taken from the recharged kati unit. I messed that part up more than once.

Well I definately screwed that up.....

I used regular water, should I recharge the ani again?

If it's making good water I would let it b. If not i would recharge it.

Yeah, it is coming out at 0 tds so I will not mess with it

These things tip over pretty easily, especially with the rigid 1/2 inch tubing. Do you mount yours to something? Right now I just have them sitting in a laundry sink.
