Anyone using Ozone

I am thinking about using an ozone generator, is anyone using one or have you used one in the past? Tell me your thoughts pros and cons to using ozone.....

I have used it in the past and it really keeps your water clear. can kill parasites I think if used correctly. keeps some free floating algea down and may keep your glass clean a day or 2 longer. I do have one I was going to use on my new tank but starting to think against it if you want it I will sell it to you for what I paid for it and I got a good deal. 200 mg and it was under $100. I forget the name alot of people are using them with good results. it has a built in air pump so you don't need a seperate one.
alot of people only run them a few hours a week or even a month to keep the water extra clear. cons would be overdosing and killing everything. not likely if you don't run it 24 hours everyday. an orp controller would be the best way to control it.

you should get the orp controller. I have the enaly unit which robthorn was trying to describe. Its great. I get clear water, I can keep more fish and I can over feed and not worry. My lps have thicker polyps too. I keep it around 380 mv to be safe. Make sure your skimmer can process the ozone correctly or you will smell it in your house. The side effects to humans have been blown out of proportion. I have a copier in my office that leaks more ozone than my enaly unit. You should also get an air dryer
