Anyone using the Reeflux 12k's?

I am thinking of changing my lighting. Right now I am using the 250w xm 20k's with no actinics. I am thinking of trying out the Reeflux 12k's. Are anyone using the reeflux 12k's?

I am using a Reeflux 12k with no actinics right now. I was actually thinking of going a little more blue. How old is you bulb...maybe I will trade you

Also certain ballasts cannot fire this bulb. If it doesnt work the bulb will stay in the pink mode.

I use Icecap 250 ballast and my bulbs are about 6 months old. Would you say the bulbs are more blue or white? What ballast are you using?

I've been running the 12k since August. It looks similar to tanks Ive seen that run 10ks and VHO actinics. This bulb is more white with a touch of blue and pretty bright. And I've gotten a lot of growth out of it. I do want to try the xm 20k since I saw it at SITC and liked it. If you want I can trade you one of your xms for mine since I only have a single MH on my tank. I have a EVC electronic ballast that should fire the same hue as the ice cap.

Sounds good. Been running it since august so about 5-6months old. I think I have a receipt somewhere.
