I have a diy fixture with blue and white leds and was curious about the visual effects of adding 3 uv leds to the mix? The uv leds are 10 watts a piece and 400nm. I could also use more 3 watt uv leds and those are 395-400nm.
Would this give me any more coral "pop" or would the whites just overpower the uv leds? Or would the tank look too purple provided I already have many royal blues in use?
And finally, should I opt for different colors to add such as green and cyan or magenta instead of the uv?
