anyone work with glass?

hey guys i cant find the right size tank,tube,can or anything to fit the little space i have left under my tank by my sump and in front of where i will be putting my ro/di system.....i want the space to be able to do my salt mixing,however i do have tons of glass at the house,will be getting a new glass cutter and on the garf site i can have the tank sized up.....all i need is hellp,see im a diy guy and i love making stuff and modding,i even made my 10g into a sump but, i've never put a tank together....thats where YOU come in lol so anyone willing to help me out?

mario, dont look at the number of lookers to a thread. it can be very deceiving. I would do it for you, but im just a little to far to get the pieces.

Mario, why do you try and make it yourself. that size tank should not be too hard. there are alot of good DIY vids here

Just get some 1/4" glass from your local glass shop and silicone it together. Shouldn't be bad at all.

Or you can have Glass-Cages build one for you to your specs... but be ready to pay for it.

as far as glass goes ive got tons of it in my shop,crap im almost willing to give it away if someone wants some for a project and pickup,i suppose ya are right,1/4 thick glass shouldnt be hard to cut and pop,just hate the idea of making it and it coming out like crap lol one of my faults,if i fail at making something or it takes me too long to get something working right i beat my self up over it....heres a question,when i attempt the bottom glass some sites say to have it in the air like in pre made aquariums but ive seem some make em like a box where the bottom glass sits on the ground completely,should i just makw it so its a bit off the ground and only the corners supporting it
