Hello all well I have to say i am the dumbest fish keeper in the world now. Before i left for flordia (2months) i started making base rock with portland cement and crushed coral well i would come home on the weekend (for R/R) and i would check the bucket with the base rock in it. after I got back Nov 26 i figured the rock was ready so i put it in the tank (80-100 lbs of base rock) since then i have lost 5 acros 3 lps and my group of mushrooms are now down to 1. So yesterday i took all the rock out and trashed it now i am in Dier need of anything that can be relinquesed from fellow reefers.

the tank is a 125 and there is close to 100 lbs of rock in there now.

looking for rock, small lps, sps and anything else to help

the fragswap is practically around the corner.....i think you should be able to find alot of stuff that you lost there

What went wrong with your base rock? How did you cure it?

From reading his post, being away doesn't help to cure your rock. You have to be around to do water changes, water flow etc. to cure those rocks. Plus it's not that established yet to add corals.....

Like said earlier i was not around to keep doing water changes and montior everything so when i got back i figured the stagnat water they were in was enough I was wrong..............

I have some palys you can have. Nothing major, but they grow like crazy and may be good for some trading and what not.

Good luck in getting it back together, it's not easy.....We all go through the good and the bad times.....I lost most of my corals when I did my move and it was horrible to watch all my corals wither away, not a easy thing to witness.....Wish I have something to offer ya, but since I lost most of mine, I'm still recovering from it right now since budget is limited.....
