Apex android app connection stopped working

Worked fine for a couple of days after update and then quit. Had been working well for some time prior to update. Reeftronics and reefnook can still pull my apex info using the same settings. I have a dlink router with port forwarding set up using the apex ip address. I can't access the apex using the dyndns address from my computer either, but as mentioned reefnook and reeftronic can. In a desperate attempt to find the problem I power cycled the router and the apex (separately) to no avail. I can access the apex directly using ip address from my computer. Any ideas?
 
neither is mine. after update it pulls up all of my info on the widget, but when i click on the widget it tells me XML parser failed. i have no idea what that means. i can still access it through every other application/port forwarding address i have including Kens tank manager.
 
Can anyone experiencing problems please send me their XML log files? I did find a problem when users have a ' in the outlet name. For instance "T5's"

Now that all data is stored in the database there may be some other conditions that cause problems.
