Apex emails?

I'm getting pretty good at programming my Apex but one thing I haven't been able to figure out is if there's a way to have a customized email sent when an even is triggered. For example, when my ATO comes on I get an email alerting me to the status of that Switch (ON or OFF). Is there a way to customize this email a bit more? I'd like to provide a better description so if I am away, whomever os watching my tank will understand what's going on. For example, have the email say "The Auto-Topoff is ON", "The Auto-Tipoff is OFF". ATO is probable not the greatest example, but my Dosing container has float valves and it would be great if you could customize the email so it specifies which supplement is low. Anyone know if this is doable?

Yes. It depends on what you title the switch. So I'd name it CA_Low, to let me know that's the switch that was triggered.

As far as setting up SMTP, I'd recommend using fusion, I've got mine set up to send me an SMS
