Apex Feeds

Ok I am still learning how to program the new Apex and I know it will be much easier once it gets here but I never figured out how to do "Feeds"

From my understanding you can switch the "Feeds" for different schedules.

Can I?

Feed A - Run everything normal

Feed B - Feeding for Coral - Turn off UV, Ozone, and Skimmer for 30 minutes and then revert to "Feed A"

If so how?

Sorry I never learned feeds on the AC Pro III either. Will it help me out to learn to set up on on their first?

Yes, you get 4 feed cycles and you can turn outlets on/off as you want. In general add the following:

If FeedA 000 Then Off

The above will turn the outlet off when FeedA is running; you can have any number of feed commands per outlet and the state can be ON or OFF; that is to say you can use Feed to turn on an outlet or turn off an outlet.

They are much more powerful than the above but the above should cover most of your needs.

Sorry no, I only created one for the AC3 and I haven't, nor do I know of anyone who has created an Apex simulator.

That said; you really don't need one; the Apex has so many more outlets it is quite easy to create a virtual outlet and program it then see how it works over time using the log. It isn't as good as a simulator that can run faster than real-time but it works none the same.

The Unofficial New User Guide (link found in the sticky at the top of this forum) has an excellent section devoted to Feed cycles.

Okay read all about it and from what I understand I just have to say

If FeedB 000 Then OFF

Is there a way to program it so it only runs FeedB for 30 minutes and then it Auto back to FeedA?

what about a ACProIII, because I tested it on there and I cant get it to do what I want it.
