You need to supply more information on your setup. Provide some details on how you connected the equipment to the Airport, what airport did you get?

2 immediate things come to mind..
If you were accustomed to using http://apex in the past, you can't do that with a Mac. Use http://[I]ip-address[/I] instead.
AirPort routers typically use a different IP address range (10.0.0.x) than other consumer routers (192.168.1.x or 192.168.0.x)... if the Apex was set for a static address within the address range used by the old router, then you won't be able to talk with it. You may need to change the address on the Apex to one within the new range.
