Apex moonlight sim - Rewire LEDs?

I recently bought the 4 LED version of the Apex moonlight simulator but the way it is wired won't work as I planned. I am curious if I can re-wire them slightly to fix my dilemma.

This is my canopy's layout. Moonlights will be closer towards the center, but still the supplied cord length is much too short to do this.

Yes, you can so this with the proper wiring. You need to keep the LEDs in series as they are currently wired. You can either close the loop at the end of your two strings and make a "j" loop or you will need to wire properly at your "y" connection.

If wired out of series you will affect the voltage at the LEDs and they will not work as designed if at all.
