I have an Apex light didn't realize it did not have the tunze ports built into it. How can I use the apex to controlle my tunze till I can afford the vdm

You can use simple ON/OFF pump program, that would be the same as a 0/100 profile but you won't be able to switch very fast because while the pumps are pretty quick using the control port they are not so quick if you add/remove power completely.

Hmm, another thought; you can look around for a used AquaSurf; it's X10 based but the Apex can use it just fine and I'd bet you can get one for cheap.

Use the pump wizard; set an outlet on the EB8/EB4 to type pump and set the parameters. The wizard is a fill-in-the-blanks program. Connect the Tunze to 1 (or more) EB8/EB4 and you are good to go.

Here is what I am wanting to do.
I want one tunze to turn on for 5 mins then the other pump to turn on for 5 mins . I just want both pumps to over lap. So that a min before pump 1 turns off pump 2 turns on. Does that make any since
