What would cause it to not allow me to set an outlet to Manual ON/OFF?

Whole story. I came home to find tank lights not on. Checked on the outlets for some reason EB8_5 programming was still there, but now it is named as EB8_8 with no programming, only thing I can think of would be it got unplugged somehow. So I went ahead and switched over all the names and programs. Deleted the 8_5 outlets that were no longer used. Updated firmware on everything. But I am unable to change the status from Auto, to Manual off or Manual on. With the exception of the first outlet which is feed which I am able to control. I've changed the cables around a couple times. Moved the display.

Now for some reason it isn't recognizing salinity probe.

It sounds like your aquabus might have communications errors; what is the state of the LEDs on the modules? Check the AB cable connections.

Note: if you cannot use manual control on an EB8 it would either mean that the EB8 is offline or that what you think you are controlling is not the EB8 you think it is.

What confused me was able to control one of the outlets but not others. Ended up reseting aquabus and reloading the outlets. Had to reprogram one since I didn't have it saved. After 2 hours of running up and down 2 flights of stairs. It all was working again.
