Aptasia move?

Do they get up and move around like nems do? The reason I ask is earlier this week I found a real tiny one on a rock. This morning when checking on the tank, I noticed it's not there anymore. I checked the spot it was in with a flashlight so I can look into every nook and cranny of the rock, but no sign of it.
What I have in that tank is 3 Turbos, 3 Nassarius snails, a cleaner shrimp and a Firefish. I don't think any of those eat aptasia.

Yes, they can move. When I first set up a little 10 gal, I had one on the upper rim of the glass a few days in. I watched him for a few days till i figured out what it was. He moved all over the place. I eventually blasted him with hot water and never saw another aptasia in that tank.

The tricky little bastard knew I was getting Aptasia x delivered today and took off somewhere. It was going to be a PIA to get to him in the spot he was anyway, so hopefully he'll pop up somewhere easier. It was tiny so I hope I can find it again.

If you can remove the rock it's on with ease just burn it off.
I would have done that when I first saw him, but if I remove that rock a whole bunch of others come crashing down. He had to pick the rock that supporting other rocks.

Aiptasia x is hit and miss I would just use a hyperdermic syringe filled with warm-hot vinegar and inject it into the base of the anemone I wiped out mojanos in my tank that way

Never had a problem with aiptasia I've always kept a few peppermint shrimps that seems to do the trick

I thought it moved. But, it must have retracted because it's in the same spot as before, yesterday it was out again. The thing is so small and barley extends out from the rock it's on. There's no getting to the base of it to inject it. I'm going to try the Aptasia x on it if I can get some on it's mouth like they suggest, but it's so damn small and not in an easy location.

Have you tried peppermint shrimp? Should do fine with your cleaner shrimp, and I rather like watching mine. Only caution is that they have been known to snack on corals on occasion.

I've tried boiling water, aptasiaX, and kalk paste.

Boiling water is useless, IMO, aptasiaX works but only if you can get it directly in the mouth. Best way I got rid of the couple I had, Kalk paste the little b*astards into the rock so they can never extend, they will eventually die.
