Aptasia on clam shell-Joe's Juice OK

I have a small Crocea that has been in my tank about a month.

I noticed today a small aptasia on the clam shell.

I normally use Joe's Jiuce to kill these. Can puuting Joe's Juice near a clam harm it?

if u turn the pumps off and only put a little bit,and nothing goes into the clam then i think u would be ok

Well, relatively safe that is. It is essentially kalk and selcon and it's extremely high pH can burn things other than aiptasia. That said, I've carfully used it on my crocea several times with no complications. That is, unless you count the return of the aiptasia as a complication. I don't think any chemical method of killing the buggers in tank can stop their viscious propagation cycle completely, Joe's Juice included. Grrrrr.
