aptasia on clam

i have some aptasia on my ultra blue maxima clam.
what can i do to get rid of them. Are products like aiptasia x safe to use near a clam?

I've used Aiptasia-x on my clam that had a majano right next to it's mantle. I think you'll be OK. Just turn off all your flow, zap the aiptasia, and blow the remainder off your clam with a powerhead before turning everything else back on. That's what I did and all was fine.

Agree, recommend wait until all water movement ceases before using Aiptasia-X. It's king of "gluey" but water movement will break it apart and may take Aiptasia-X it into clam siphon.
