Aqua C Urchin skimmer question?

I have been running this skimmer for a bout a month with the cup as high as it goes I get some skimmate but not a lot. Should I be using the Venturi hose that came with the mj1200 for it? would it make the skimmer perform better?

Cup is as high or low...?

The lower the cup the more skimmate you'll get.

I don't have an Urchin but three Remora Pros with mag drives...

The mag drives have no venturi lines then. I guess will just try lowering the cup. I was wondering if the extra air through the PH would help the skimmer at all

I have a urchin. I put the cup as low as it will go and it pulls a bunch of nasty stuff.

i have the same skimmer and keep the cup about half way.i dont think you want the cup too high or too low.

Remoras/Urchins are spray injection skimmers. You dont use a venturi.
