I've been running the AE 265 Recirc for nearly 2 years. Big, affordable, and works great, produces a lot of skimmate on my moderately stocked 200 gallon system. Thick acrylic and solid construction.
The early issues about exposed metal in the pumps rusting were apparently worked out, and I haven't had one die yet. I never had a problem with mine rusting because it's plumbed externally. Occasionally the air intake on a pump will clog and air flow is restricted, I assume it's salt, so I pour a little hot water down the air tube and it's fixed.
One note, they are made with metric pvc components, so if you want to join it to standard pvc fittings, you'll need to use some adapters.
The picture on Premium Aquatics looks different than mine. They've added the bubble plate and taken away the outflow valve.
