I’m selling a number of things that I thought I would need for a conversion of my 180g to reef, but will not (at least for a few years). So I’m offering them first at a discount to active ARKSC members. I will be asking AT LEAST 15% more a week from now on the regular Buy/Sell forum if I don’t sell this to an active member first.
So, until next weekend I’ve got a used AquaC EV240 for $200. That price assumes you will pick up at my house. Here’s a link to the skimmer. I will be HAPPY to provide pics if needed, though that link is EXACTLY what I’m selling, except it is used.
I’ve never used the skimmer myself. I bought it used from another RC member a year or so ago. I water tested it – so it’s fully intact. And it cleaned up nicely - has no visible flaws except for a scratch here or there.
The Marine Depot pic has a gate valve. I’ve misplaced that. But if I can’t find it before it sells I’ll discount the price by the amount necessary to have that same part purchased and shipped fron marinedepot.com. But I’m sure I have it… just need to dig.
Also, I went to a great deal of research to find what is – IMO – the perfect pump for this skimmer is. That can be found in this thread.
Before you reply to this “active members” offer, an active member is an ARKSC member who’s dues payments are current. If you ARE a member, but aren’t “active” because you haven’t paid dues since April, you can go to www.arksc.org and use the Paypal button to do it there. It’s only $10. And if there’s any question about whether you are a member, they are listed on our same ARKSC website.
First active member to paypal stephen.g@colley.org gets the item. Second in line are local people that have been to a meeting but are not active members.
