Aquac Ev Skimmers

What is some of your opinions about aquac ev serirs skimmers?
I am thinking about a EV 2000 for my 500 gallon reef but can't find to many reveiws on them
What are yours whether personal experience or judgment???
 
i have heard nothing but great things from these skimmers. My favorite LFS runs them throughout the store and they do great
 
I have an EV400 that I currently use in a 200 gallon but I would not recommend it. It seems to run fine but I don’t like how temperamental it is. I ran it for awhile with a Mag-drive and I never cared for how much waste it produced. I replaced the pump with an Iwaki and it produces a lot more waste but I still believe that there are better skimmers available.

I run an Aqua C remora Pro on my 120 g but for my 600g
I am looking for the same one as you the EV 2000 for $799
but i dont now anything either about this particular skimmer!!!
