I’m getting ready to put this up on ebay but figured I’d post here first. I purchased this off ebay recently thinking it was the AquaController 3 Pro but found out it is an earlier model, the AquaController Pro. It is very similar to the AC3 Pro with the major difference being no Ethernet connection though it connects to a serial port fine (which is how I’ve been running it up till I got the AC 3 Pro). I’ve used it for over a month now and it works fine. Another difference that I found is that it only has 1 feed cycle.

It comes with the power adapter and the temp probe but no DC’s or x10. I’m asking $250.00 and am making no money on it (actually losing a little), just figured I ask here first before I put it on ebay.

ACpro is still very capable. It has PH, ORP, even salinity through a conductivity meter. The would be cool to top off according to if you needed saltwater or just RO to keep your salinity levels in check.

Anyway, good luck with your sale. I am enjoying your old AC3 and I'm surprised nobody has jumped on the more advanced ACPro. In case anyone was wondering... you could hook it to a computer through aquanotes and monitor or control things through the internet just like the AC3 or AC3 pro but you have to have a computer there instead of its own built-in server.

Thanks for the plug Kevin.

You don't really need the computer to be near the controller. I ran it with the controller in the basement and the pc upstairs through the serial connection. I made a long serial cable out of cat 5 and plugged the controller into it. Then ran the cable upstairs and used an adapter to convert it to USB and connected to my pc with no problems. The main difference between the AC3 Pro and the AC Pro is no ethernet.

Glad the AC 3 is working for you.

On a side note, I had a Dickens of a time getting the Cond Probe to work till I found out that you have to use a drip cup to isolate the probe.
