aqualight pro fans What controls them?

I have a 72" fixture. The fans were fading high, low, noisy, quiet and then stopped s\after 5 min. Both stopped, I'm thinking maybe a thermostat switch or something that controls both. Any thought??
Also, if someone knows if they are 120v? I could reroute a wire to run on its own timer.

Thanx

Looking at the label on the fan should allow you to identify its voltage..
I'd guess a 12VDC fan..

More than likely its fan bearing failure/seize.. Fans have the worst lifespan of basically anything electronic..

A simple multimeter check on the input wires to the fan would let you see if its getting voltage or not (and even what voltage if needed)

Thanks for the input, but does anyone know what is controlling them. Both fans were in simutaneous movement. going fast then slow then quit. Chances of both quiting at he same time are ?. They aren't seized, I opened it up

Post a pic with the wiring,etc.. exposed..
Or open it.. trace the wires from the fans back to whatever they are wired to and post a clear pic of that..

I don't have those lights but can easily tell you whats doing what inside..

and sorry didn't catch the part about both stopping at the same time..
