Aquaponics

I was not sure which Forum this should be posted under.

There is a new method of gardening that is getting a lot of attention these days called "Aquaponics" and because it combines a few aspects of our hobby, I thought it might be of interest to some of Reef Central's members.

It combines the use of fish, water and no soil--and may be the future of food growing.

I think that the video that I am posting will catch a lot of members imagination in the manner that this pioneer is tackling the plumbing, heating, and water treatment in his backyard greenhouse.

my second attempt was 50 channel cats. with a flood/drain style grow bed using a bell siphon. was going well, peppers and lettuce grew best but my boys decided the fish needed more water. killed them all with the garden hose :/ so i scrapped it for now, until they grow up a little. wish i had more pics. this was all i could find.
