Aquarium Controllers (Lighthouse vs. Neptune)

Hi, I've been researching the various controllers on the market for quite a while but am still a little unsure of which to buy. The main reason I want a controller is so I can moniter conditions online using a Mac. It seems that the Lighthouse Controller is the only capable of doing this (is this correct?), but I've never heard the brand so I'm hesitant to buy it. I really wanted a Neptune, how does the quality compare?

BTW, I just recieved a shipment from you the other day and the packing was excellent as always!

The Lighthouse controller can be viewed from any computer with a web browser. Mac or PC. You can't control the lighthouse from the web, but you can monitor conditions on any online computer. Neptune AquaNotes is for PC only. In order to control the aquacontroller from a computer, you have to have PC. The aquacontroller has more options and features. The Lighthouse is a basic controller that's easy to view from the web. Quality on both is good and we rarely have any problems with either controller.

Glad to hear your recent shipment was a success!

The AC3 and AC3Pro have integrated web servers built into them, so that may be accessed from any computer's web browser (Mac, PC, linux, etc). From the web browser you can reconfigure the controller, control devices, get the current status, datalogs, etc.

There is a new version of the Lighthouse Controller that now does remote control from a web browser (PC & Mac). Also, they added email alerts and cell phone text messaging, and some other new features.
