I liked the way that you cropped it down.
With the lightning that hit my house I have not had the chance to load my camera's software yet, so I didn't crop any of them.
Cropped it down?
Those are both your pictures! I didn't do anything...
The "before" you posted awhile back, the "after" you posted yesterday.
I was asking what you did differently to get such a better picture.
It is now in focus, properly exposed, and fills the frame.

And you wonder why I take the kind of pictures that I do...
What I did different was to not use the Aquarium mode with my camera. I used the setting that you reccomended, and then added the macro mode.
I have a Nikon D40x with the 18-55mm lens. Some of the pictures will turn out great but more often than not they just don't come out like any of the pictures that are posted above.
Will a 55-200mm help at all or do I need a macro lens?

There are any number of reasons the photos aren't coming out well... camera shaking, poor focus, improper exposure etc. etc. Getting a macro lens won't solve any of those 'user error' issues. Also, note that most pictures are crap... people only post the nice ones. :fish2:
55-200mm probably won't help much because the minimum focal distance will be too long... with zoom lenses, you can zoom, but have to step back because of focusing issues, making it about the same as using a shorter lens. You can get a 'macro filter' which halves or quarters the minimum focal distance. Nikon's is very high quality and costs like $40 on ebay... either that or a macro lens, which will result in better pictures.
