Hi, i've moved houses and dragged my tank with me. I went to re-hook up the aquariumplants.com electronic C02 regulator and it hisses like crazy, which i feel is likely a bad sign. The C02 is obviously going through the escape valve. I have no instructions so if anyone has any suggestions on resetting the regulator that would be appreciated. I'd call Mark at aquariumplants.com but he's out sick today.

Happened to my aquariumplants regulator also. This is what your going to have to do. Send it back and call them every week untill they fix it and send back to you. Took about a month for me. :( Hopefully you'll have better luck.

Ok, i got Mark on the phone and he said i should have released the T valve (as per instructions which i don't have) and likely blew the seal. He's going to fix it no charge and send it back to me, even though i bought it quite a while back. Can't fault the customer service to this point.

What do you mean T-Valve? If you mean making sure the regulator pressure knob is all the way closed when you first turn on the pressure from the CO2 cyclinder I made sure I did with mine as per the instructions. That is close off regulator turn on CO2 then gradually open regulator pressure knob t desired pressure.

My seal blew after it was busy chugging along for a few days.

I have one of the early models that has a metal T for pressure adjustment instead of a pressure knob. I forgot or didn't know enough to close the pressure valve prior to turning back on the C02. Pretty much user error on my part i suppose, although i was never given any instructions, just got some coaching from Mark over the phone when i set it up more than a year ago.

Would have also helped if the metal T had an arrow on it like the new knob, as i turned it the wrong way once i tried to right my wrong. Shows you how little i've ever adjusted it, once it was dialed in. Probably more than a year since i've even tweaked the pressure.
