I'm about six weeks into my first 90 gallon saltwater set up. I've rearranged my rock several times, each time spending more time thinking through flow, placement, etc. I'm liking this set up so far, but still not there. Any thoughts? Do you find this visually interesting?

Did you give yourself enough room to clean behind the rocks ? Cuz detritus will find its way back there

Awesome! I wanted to create more shelves and different heights like that.

Yes, I double checked that I can fit my hand all the way around.

I think the two flat pieces look out of place. I personally like all the rocks and their placement - except those.

I know you're looking to create some shelves, but they don't look natural, and may not be needed. (Maybe try to use coral to get some of the same effect if you really want some shade for your livestock?)

I was thinking they don't look natural as well but an aquascape is really a personal preference thing. There is no right or wrong. I personally like the use of negative space. It's something you don't see very often. I also like the use of black sand.

Thanks! I've changed it again, I added a really cool piece, and now I do not the arrangement at all. I'm going to rework it this weekend. I know what I want, but can't seem to get it. Right now it looks cluttered. I'll post another pic when I can get a decent shot.

I agree absolutely, but I hate to just take pieces out though, they're expensive. I rearranged it again and now it just looks cluttered. I'm going to rework it this weekend, then post another pic.
