Im kind up in the air as to what to do. I saw a guy make a ledge out of Tonga branches and i think that's really cool but I also like the 3D backgrounds and was thinking I could make a ledge come out of that. I just don't know what will look better. If i do make a 3D background im wondering how much room i would have left. Its a 75 gallon tank. Any advice or pictures would be appreciated.

Heres my scape. I did a 3d Background on the bottom for a bare bottom tank to give it a more natural look.

As far as 3d backgrounds go you can get them as thick or as thin as you want. If your going to build off of it though I imagine you will need something thicker to cut into.
