I just received my very first shipment of softies that I ordered online. I was skeptical of the online thing, but so far so good! I got a purple tree, lemon tree, taro tree, pumping xenia, and some GSP. I put them all down on the sand for now to give them a few days to acclimate completely
My question is concerning the aragonite plugs they came attached to. My tank is only 29gal with 35lbs of LR, so big square blocks are fairly difficult to hide within the rock work. Is there any way to cut those blocks down, or easily remove the softie frags without damaging them?
I'm super new to softies, so I'm pretty gun-shy when it comes to screwing around with something I don't know much about. Any help is appreciated!
