Arc Fault Breaker

So I am getting mixed info. I just had a new house built and most breakers are arc fault. I had the builder run a dedicated 20amp to the fish tank area. So the question is.... Will the arc fault protect me or do I need to remove that breaker and replace with a GFCI? Thanks for the help.

I highly recommend against the new GFCI breakers. They are so sensitive as to be unreliable. I re-wired my fishroom and had the 20amp breaker changed for a GFCI breaker. Everytime the hall light was turned on the breaker tripped. Tv turned on, tripped. They were also on this circuit but obviously it shouldn't have been tripping.

I ended up going back to a normal breaker and putting in gfci outlets. They have only gone off once and they were supposed to (something dropped in tank).

So is everyone suggest that I just install a GFCI outlet and keep the ARC fault or replace the ARC fault and install a GFCI outlet.
