Are any of these 3 better than a standard power strip??

Why not make your own. More expensive than the cheap power strips but have you ever opened one of those up and looked inside? Scary cheap.
Can make your own with a trip to home depot. I use the plastic single or double gang electrical boxes, some smurf pipe, good quality 3 prong plugs for the power cord to my home made power strips, commercial grade outlets (still only a couple bucks each) and regular 14 guage romex. Then I add covers where possible to help keep out any water splash/drips. Cost a few bucks more when it's all said and done but much better quality than those crappy store bough power strips.

Outlets in dual gang plastic boxes with waterproof covers. These are split into two seperate circuits and each is plugged into a different circuit. 2 boxes each circuit, 4 outlets per box, 8 outlets total, each circuit. My Lighting and chiller are on seperate circuits. The rest of the electric are small current draw items and split between the 2 circuits.

Outlets for my lighting timers. I used single receptacle outlets in single gang plastic boxes. Wire jumps from outlet box to outlet box in smurf pipe.

Well, I wouldnt use any of the circuit city ones. They have the extra ports for coax cable and telephone for CATV and Satellite.

Atleast look for a more heavy duty type of basic power strip without the extra stuff. HD or Lowes should have them and alot of them have an outlet or two spaced for transformers which should give you enough room for your timer and the extra 2 plugs you need to plug in.
