Are these bite marks?

How do I change this?
I recently added a few possible nippers, and at least one has taken to coral so... Do these look like bite marks? These btas are always fully inflated during the day and don't normally have short tentacles like this. Thanks for looking.

A little more than a month ago, but they healed completely, and had been healed for completely about two weeks before adding the potential nippers. Then about two weeks after adding the suspects, this started happening, which I just noticed the day before yesterday. I haven't seen anyone go after it yet, but it sure looks like it to me.

I don't think so, when my btas split, they heal fast (1-2 weeks) then once the mouth is good, they start growing new tentacles and it looks just like yours. They have to make up for the lost number of tentacles, otherwise all split anemones would have only half of the tentacles of the earlier generation. You can tell they r ok cuz those little, like, kinda purplish dots at the tips of their tentacles are their primitive eyes that tell them where to face. If they were nipped they would deflate and look metallic kinda. In my opinion, they are perfectly healthy :) just my honest opinion from my experiences. Hope this helps

That's good to hear. I have found two small, half inch tentacles floating around, detached. Nothing tried to eat them though. I think one of them was the one in the bottom three pics towards the top right that is pinched, almost looks like a balloon that was twisted. Ever see that? Thanks for the help.

Thanks guys. I'm still on the look out as more and more are looking pinched and twisted like in the picture above, but haven't found any nippers yet. I'll keep a close eye on it.

Are you referring to the bases of the tentacles where they seem shriveled? or are talking about on the body of the mouth?

The shriveling I think is normal....just part of the the anemone's retracting and expanding of them, however other reefers correct me if im wrong please!

The part on the body of the mouth doesn't look like something to worry about to me....unless it gets worse.
