Are these pest on my dying torch coral?

My coral was doing fine for the past two weeks im untill 2 days ago i notice tissue recession. Today i notice these spots on the coral but the spots dont move

How long have you had the coral? If you’ve only had it for a couple weeks there could be other issues affecting it. If those “objects” aren’t moving then that rules out red planaria and they don’t appear to be pest to me but hard to tell from the picture.

Its hard to say when something is already dying because it can be a pest or scavenger.

I remember reading about something similar to this a while ago. People recommended iodine based dip and/or interceptor treatment. Maybe try a dip and see if they fall off and you can get a better look at them.

All corals entering your tank should be dipped and inspected carefully before they enter your tank. Dips do not kill SPS red bugs so inspect, inspect....once in your tank...makes it harder to eradicate....
