Arrow crab with Shrimp???

I recently purchased a coral banded shrimp and a fire shrimp and introduced them to my 85 gallon reef tank. Immediately after getting them acclimatied to the tank my arrow crab, which has been living in the tank for about two months attacks my coral bannded shrimp and killed it. Is this common? Do I need to remove him from my tank before he attacks the fire red shrimp? I definately don't want him to kill this shrimp.

Any input out there would be appreciated.

In my experiences, arrows and CBS are mortal enemies. However in my latest tank, I impulsively bought a CBS forgetting about my arrow in my 90 gal but strangely, they steer clear of eachother because they have lots of rock caves to hide in. The arrow is usually too busy eating to pay the CBS any mind.

I say watch him carefully. If he raises any more problems, then take him out if you prefer the shrimps over the arrow. Arrow crabs may look like fragile creatures but they can hold their own against things many times its size.
