ASM G-1 problem

Well I havent noticed until just now but my skimmer isnt working right. I noticed that half of the micro bubbles are not going up the cylinder, they are going out of the exit tube. Has anyone else ever had this problem? What should I do to get it to work the way that I need it to?

Is it new? where is your water level set inside the skimmer?

The water level is set just under the "V". It is not new, it has been working for a year or so. I am totally confused why it is acting up and not working.

It seems odd, but when I notice that happening on mine it is when the nipple of the venturi needs to be cleaned out.

What nipple? I guess I am not following. The nipple that the tube goes in to from the pump?

Where the airline connects to the pump. I would pull the pump and run in a vinegar solution for about an hour and then scrub and rinse.

I just might have to do this to make the hole bigger and more air can come through. Thanks for the great idea. and for your help
