Asm G-1x ???

Would this be a good choice for a 40gal tank w/40gal sump?
I seen that it is rated for up to 150 gal. Would the G-1 model
give me more skim?

I think the G-1 or G-1X would be a great choice for that size tank.

I'd get the G1x. IME the G1 is a bit underpowered.
