Asm g1

I just bought what I think is a ASM G1. It didn't come with any instructions. Anyone know the suggested water level for ASM G1? I know it is ASM just don't know exactly which mod.

Water level the skimmer is sitting in, or water level inside of skimmer?? Take a pic. Put something next to it for reference.

What level does the skimmer need to sit at? What am I taking a picture of? The skimmer is net setup, yet. I am trying to figure out if I need to build a shelf for it to sit on in sump. The water level in sump is 12". I know most if not all skimmer have a recommended water level for skimmer to sit in. Just unsure what it is for ASM G1

I have an ASM G3. The footprint of the G3 is 12*11. The skimmer sits in 8-9" of water in the sump.

Check out Marine Depot. They sell ASM Skimmers. They give you the specs so you can tell what skimmer you have.

Finally, the ASM skimmers don't come with any useful instructions.

I have mine the same depth as fpv. But I too have a G3. The pic would be of the skimmer with say a yardstick with it in the pic. We really don't know which model you have. Can't guess without knowing.
