ASM g2 mod??

I have a 60 cube with SPS, zoos, 1 bicolor blenny, perc, & flame angel. I have a g2 and noticed that the skimmate is not really "black" and is minimal. I've adjusted the water level for the foam to rise up just past the neck, and just do not see the thick sludge that others get from their tanks.
My question is.....is it that my bioload is too little for it to skim out? Is there a mod that I can do, and if so, what should I do?

I also have a fuge, and use a filter sock.

seems like your bio load is pretty low so that may explain minimal skimmate. your tank feeding habits will also affect your skimmate. check asmskimmer.com for the mods. i bought their mod kit for the G2 but didn't really notice any difference.

What does recirculating do for the skimmer....i'm a little lost on the subject??

It increases the eficiency of your skimmer. It will also work better if you have it getting fed directly from your overflow. Your bioload is pretty light, so I would not expect a thich dark skimmate from it.

so do they have a mod for the Euroreef ES 6-2? can I use the asm mod parts?
Any idea if this will make it perform way better?
