ASM G2 upgrade

I have a stock G2. I want to try to maximize its performance. anyone have any info on mods I can do to it? Thanks!

The three mods that I know of are:

Mesh wheel mod.
Recirculating mod.
Gate valve mod.

Feeding from the tanks overflow helps as well but not really sure it constitutes as a mod.

This will cover everything but the mesh wheel mod.

How do you like the G2? Im waiting for mine to arrive. Got a deal on a used one. Are you using it on a 70 gallon?

yeah it works really well. although the tube at the top that the foam travels through gets coated with skimmate the performance slows with that coating. I have to use a tooth brush every 4-5 days to keep it clean. I am trying to find some mods to see what its potential is. No regrets now though. It is on the 70g.

I love my g2 or 3... not sure. I did the gate valve mod and It was amazing the difference both in noise and performance. I did the mesh mod and it beefed up the performance and I attached an air pump to the venturi and it continues to out perform my expectations.
