asm g4 skimmer with a octopus aq-3000s pump

i have a asm g4 skimmer body using a aquatrance aq-3000s pump will this pump be as good as the sedra 5000 pump that the asm g4 comes with ? it seems to be working ok just wondiring if the sedra pump is better
