ASM Gate Valve Mod Kit

Is anyone familiar with the Gate Valve mod for ASM skimmers? I was going to buy the kit from asmskimmer.com, but the shipping was going to be 11 dollars. Any help would be appreciated.

You dont "need" the gate valve....the riser will still move up and down for adjustments. Just get the T and put it on your existing riser...nipple then the 90 going back down and the little bit of pipe your going to need to aleviate the splash noise from HD or Lowes. It will be half of what the shipping alone would have been and it works the same.
