I'm looking at getting a cone skimmer for my 40 gal tank(60 gal total water volume.) I know that the old ASM design was very basic but that lots of people had great experiences with it but I can't find much information pertaining to their new line of cone skimmers. Does anybody have any experience with these? It's rated at 150 gallons but I know thats always lightly stocked but in spite of that would this skimmer be way more than I need for my tank (to the point it doesn't skim enough)?
